Norwegian lawmaker nominates Trump for Nobel Peace Prize

About time! This pretty much clinches his win in November. Why? Because whenever a Democrat disparages him live on television or privately, all that needs to be said is, “Well, he’s nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize, so he must have done something right.” That will shut the likes of Hillary, Behar, Whoopie, DeNiro, Midler, Romney, Greta Thunberg, Obama, Juan Williams, Michelle, Kamala, Comey, and Biden up.

I don’t know how Biden will be able to run on, “We need to bring back the soul and dignity to America” when Trump is up for a Nobel Peace Prize. I don’t know how he’s going to run on, “Trump is incompetent in foreign affairs and not respected world wide” when he’s up for a Nobel Peace Prize. It makes Biden look like an uninformed fool.

I thought Trump deserved one long ago for taking out ISIS, calming the threat of North Korea, cancelling the Iran Nuclear deal, eliminating two top Al Qaeda leaders, moving the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem, his handling of the covid pandemic that threatened millions of American lives, and recently brokering a Peace Agreement between Israel and United Arab Emirates.

A Norwegian lawmaker, Tybring-Gjedde, has nominated him.

Tybring-Gjedde also cited Trump’s “key role in facilitating contact between conflicting parties and … creating new dynamics in other protracted conflicts, such as the Kashmir border dispute between India and Pakistan, and the conflict between North and South Korea, as well as dealing with the nuclear capabilities of North Korea.” And he lauded the president for withdrawing a large number of forces from the Middle East.

This news has restored my faith in my Norwegian relatives. I always thought they were too liberal to nominate Trump for a Nobel Peace Prize. After all, Obama got one for just being half Black and Greta got one for cutting school. ;>) Seriously though, Trump actually accomplished many feats prior to being nominated. Let’s hope he gets the award, but being nominated itself is worth something.

Congratulations President Trump! But watch out. The left doesn’t like good news about you and will bury it with yet another fabricated scandal. Wait for it!

  1. It’s a tad hyperbolic to say Greta just cut school. She did a fair bit more than that. Also, I think it would be better for you to state your reasons why you don’t believe Obama deserved the award, rather than stating it was because of his race. That’s incredibly inflammatory.
    That being said, I’m very glad to see Trump nominated for the award. He’s a very better president than the libs give him credit for.

    After doing nothing. I looked it up because I thought he made peace with a billion or more tax payer dollars to donate to international terrorists. It was, in fact, simply for being half-black.

    1. As I recall I think he received it for being the first “Black” president and speaking eloquently. Norway loves symbols of diversity. Wiki’s reason sounds sort of nebulous and vague. “Cooperation between people?” Like his “beer summit” between the police and a homeowner?

      1. Huh. I didn’t follow politics until Candidate Trump came along, but I have a hard time believing any hearing person could believe Obama was an eloquent speaker. Maybe he reads a teleprompter well enough, but I’ve seen numerous, “If-if-if-if,” or “I-I-I-I” remarks which seems to indicate that his brain malfunctions. I don’t care if someone stutters. I just wouldn’t elevate him or her as an eloquent speaker. I also like the truth and have manners, though.

        I have to look up the beer summit! No clue what happened there.

  3. He got to where he is today by making a remarkable speech during a previous DNC Convention as an unknown. It launched his career. Then whenever had read a speech he displayed a large vocabulary. Off the cuff not so much. He did mispronounce corpsmen once though pronouncing the “p.” The media praised him as an eloquent speaker. I care more of ones actions than words.

    The beer summit was the beginning of racial conflict. Obama said the Boston police “acted stupidly” when they came to a house that someone called the police as it looked as though it was being broken into. Well..the homeowner was breaking into his own house as he locked himself out and happened to be Black. The homeowner made a big deal about it and claimed they came to arrest him because of his color. Obama agreed. It was really just a routine B&E call. Then came the beer summit where the police had to sit down with the homeowner and apologize. This I feel set the stage for what we are going though today. IMO. and the birth of BLM.
