Where Do We Go From Here?

Wondering what can be done to heal our country since the assassination of a true patriot and family-oriented man like Charlie Kirk. This has gone too far is all I can think of. Too far. How it started, who is funding it, and what is causing it has been running through my brain for a week. The answers to this go way back in time and are so complex it would take pages to try to get to the bottom of this, but we still wouldn’t touch the surface. So I won’t try.

What we are going to do from now on is the real question. Charlie Kirk’s death is a turning point in our country, our society, our future and an aptly named movement. The FBI needs to step up their surveillance of the dark websites that killers like this are groomed from. They need agents that go into these chatrooms fulltime to catch the next plot before it is put into action. They need to interrogate the parents of the recent assassinators like Crooks, Manegoni, and Robinson. Young men like this have gone extreme, and we need to know if their parents saw warning signs before they planned to kill. We need to know if they were funded and by whom. We need to know if the parents encouraged radical behavior of their sons.

Could the increase of women working outside the home be partly to blame for this generation of young men that go awry. Stay at home mothers were once home to inspect their children’s bedrooms to see if anything looked suspicious like cigarettes, drugs, alcohol, porn; and, dare I say, guns and bombs. Sons just don’t turn radicalized overnight. It starts in high school. Moms were also home to see what kind of websites their children were going on.

Violent video games that children play can desensitize them to death. Violent movies can do the same. Social media can be cruel and hateful causing depression among teenagers. Parents are going to have to oversee these entertainment outlets as well, so their children don’t get harmed. They also need to seek counseling for them if they are depressed or thinking of changing their gender. But that’s a whole other subject.

Now it seems young women are getting very violent and destructive from what I see on Instagram tearing apart Charlie Kirk’s tribute displays. They typically look like feminists with blue hair, nose rings, and tattoos. Where did they go wrong? We were never like this as young women. Why are parents of these girls so permissive? Kamala’s stepdaughter looks radicalized. Certainly not like any of Trump’s daughters and granddaughters so upbringing has a lot to do with it. It starts in the home then continues in the classrooms.

But then their are those offspring like Robinson that revolted against his conservative upbringing by Mormon parents. They may have gone overboard discussing politics in the home around their children. There is a fine line between being politically astute and a hardcore conservative. Keep it to yourselves, not around the children.

Same for teachers. They need to keep their political views to themselves. We never had teachers telling us who to vote for or to go out and protest. We just didn’t. We know most teachers are Democrat as that is a career of choice for most Democrats as well as journalism and therein lies another problem. We are oversaturated with liberal viewpoints from mainstream media, newspapers, social media, and teachers. Schools, news anchors, and newspapers need to be unbiased and report just the facts. The FBI should be looking into this as well. Too many new channels voicing their views not the news.

I like seeing all the vigils for Charlie Kirk. It’s good to see this tragedy has awakened a sleeping giant. Charlie really was a rising star in the conservative party and could have been president one day. Really a tragedy that his young life was cut short by an even younger man with mental problems. Mental illness is the root of most of the discord in our country. What leads to mental illness is complex but could be any number of the aforementioned issues. But all these issues seem to be turning into the perfect storm for the assassination culture which we are now entering.

Fifty percent of young liberals feel it is justified to murder a dictator, a fascist, an autocrat, all of which names get overly (and wrongly) used against the likes of Charlie Kirk and Trump. More reason for the FBI to get more involved in scrutinizing social media, chatrooms, news anchors, and dark websites. Worthless Chris Wray was actually investigating Turning Point USA. He was part of the problem.

If nothing changes, I don’t know where we go from here.
