Words We Never Heard Seven Years Ago.

I’m tired of turning on the news and hearing the same words spoken over and over which in ten years from now won’t mean a thing to us. They barely mean a thing to us now, but the media is pushing them on us. They figure the more they say them, the more they will become part of our everyday language. I personally wish I never heard them again.

Here are some of the words, names, terms, or initials that we never heard prior to seven years ago in no particular order:

  1. Woke
  2. Nonbinary
  3. Gender neutrality
  4. Critical race theory
  5. BLM
  6. Antifa
  7. Juneteenth
  8. Project 1619
  9. Indigenous Day
  10. Gender Fluid
  11. Gender Dysphoria
  12. Assigned sex
  13. Covid
  14. Fauci
  15. Wuhan
  16. Hunter
  17. EV
  18. Fentanyl
  19. J-6 Insurrection
  20. Stormy
  21. Drop boxes
  22. Karen
  23. Dominion computers
  24. Disinformation
  25. TikTok
  26. Defund Police
  27. Chestfeeding
  28. Vax’d
  29. Mulvaney
  30. George Floyd

I’m sure there are many more that should make this list; but if the above were never mentioned again, I’d be happy. But in these tumultuous times under the rule of an immoral and dishonest government, we will continue to hear the aforementioned words ad nauseam on cable news. Seven years ago, if you heard one of these, you’d say, “What is or who is that?”
